Our client in food/beverage manufacturing is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join an exciting company with exceptional advancement opportunities.

The Lead Maintenance Technician will:

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance repairs and activities on all equipment in the plant;
• Assist with plant equipment upgrades;
• Supervise, lead, and mentor other maintenance technicians;
• Troubleshoot plant equipment;
• Create and use the PM program;
• Maintain spare parts inventory and place orders as needed;
• Work with other supervisors and plant management to reduce downtime and inefficiencies.

Requirements for the Lead Maintenance Technician are:

• Associates degree preferred (high school diploma required);
• Minimum 7 years’ hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required (high-tech, high-speed equipment);
• Minimum 3 years’ troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs;
• Strong supervisory and training experience;
• Experience with boilers, air compressors, refrigeration, and waste water;
• Experience with spare parts ordering and inventory;
