 We are currently recruiting for a Training Specialist for our brewery in Milwaukee, WI. 

Job Description

The purpose of the Training Specialist role is to provide training support to the unit, shift and project teams through consistent application of Learning and Development workflow process methods and standards. Key outputs include: 

1. Competency Acquisition Process (CAP) managed to optimize employee capability 

2. Training process including needs analysis, design approach, material development, training delivery, effectiveness assessment and competency anchoring managed in support of team goals. 

3. Training administration, including planning, organizing and recordkeeping, coordinated in support of team goals within the framework of SkilBase and the Corporate Learning Management System. 

4. Coaching and facilitation support provided for teams. 

5. World Class Manufacturing culture shaped and driven through Performance Management and related processes. 

6. Overall training support effectively delivered to optimize team performance in safety, people, quality, service, and cost. 

This position specifically supports Quality Education throughout the brewery. The Training Specialist is responsible for enabling Quality at Source through training, coaching and certification relative to instrumentation, process and system skills. 

Individual must be willing and able to work 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and/or 3rd shift (11pm-7am) as needed to facilitate training for a three shift operation.

 Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of a 4-year degree preferably in Instructional Technology, Human Resources or business, or relevant manufacturing training experience. Advanced degree preferred.  Knowledge of Human Resources functional areas and Competency Based Training practices. Experience in a quality-centric role or ASQ certification helpful. Technical aptitude. Proven facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills.

Computer literacy. Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing principles and specifically Quality at Source preferred. Proven OJT and Classroom training ability. Knowledge of Instructional Design and content development.
