QC INSTRUMENT CHEMIST

Now, we are seeking a skilled Instrument Chemist with 5+ years relevant instrumentation analysis and troubleshooting experience and related flavor or fragrance experience to perform QC testing, optimize instrumental QC platform to ensure timely and accurate results.
You’ll perform GC, HPLC, GC-MS and allied analytical instrumentation analysis, data interpretation, system troubleshooting and maintenance of instruments and software systems; perform qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products, and other samples for the purposes of quality control, product development and regulatory conformance; implement methods for continuing improvement for test accuracy and cost reduction and provide technical support to QC staff, allied departments and customers.
To qualify, you'll need a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field; experience operating, troubleshooting and maintaining GC, HPLC, GC-MS and allied analytical instruments and software systems; expertise in flavor materials and related analytical test variants and knowledge of Quality Systems including SQF, ISO-9001-2000, HACCP & GMP. Strong organizational, time management and communication skills with the ability to write and present clear, concise reports, determine analysis priorities, work independently, troubleshoot analysis methods and mentor staff are a must. Strong working ability in Windows, SPC Software and MS Office (Word, Excel) is also required.
