Position Purpose:Incumbent is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the food processing plant. This includes directly managing 20-40 hourly employees; ensuring foods are processed in accordance with company and government standards; collaborating with the plant scheduler to execute proper schedule on a daily basis; fully utilizing capacity of food processing machines and packaging equipment; and, ensuring proper storage and outbound delivery of product.
Required (Basic) Experience & Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field.
Minimum 5 years proven Management Skills.
10+ years of progressive operations experience.
Experience in egg operations desirable, food manufacturing or processing will be considered.
Working knowledge and experience with HACCP, SQF and USDA.
Mechanical aptitude is highly preferred for this role.
Required Competencies & Other Skills: Ability to speak, read, and writes Spanish is highly preferred.
