- Legendary Baking – Production and Distribution “Creating exceptional desserts for life’s simple pleasures” Legendary Baking is the dessert manufacturing division of the company. Our primary focus is supplying the highest quality deserts to our Bakers Square and Village Inn restaurants. We operate two production plants (Oak Forest, IL and Chaska, MN). These plants supply fresh pies to our Bakers Square restaurants. Village Inn restaurants (both Corporate and franchise) receive frozen pies and pie bases which are baked and topped at the restaurants. Legendary Baking also supports an Outside Sales customer base selling desserts under its J. Horner’s label and private label brands. Desserts we produce can now be found in over 2,000 food service and 7,000 retail locations across the nation.
