Fairmont Foods of MN is a privately held manufacturer of frozen prepared foods. The company was founded in 1987 at which time it was purchased from ConAgra. Prior to the purchase, the company functioned as an Armour Frozen Food Plant.
Fairmont Foods of MN is fortunate to have a management team with many years experience in the manufacture of frozen foods. Having been trained in this facility, many witnessed the development of the first boil-in-bag entrée, the first steam table tray for foodservice, the first hot meal to be boarded upon an aircraft, the first upscale premium frozen dinner at retail, to mention a few.
All of that knowledge and expertise carries forward to today where we have earned recognition as one of the most diversified co-packerís of frozen prepared foods in the industry. Our portfolio has included such names as Weight Watcherís, Pillsbury, Marie Callender Retail Foods, Redi-Serve, Jones Dairy Farm, Ore-Ida, Schwanís, Jimmy Dean Foods, Fazoliís and Luiginoís to name a few.
Our original plant covers 170,000 square feet and is a USDA facility. It was the first plant in the upper Midwest to function under a TQC format. As a co-packer, we are audited by as many as 6 different services per year and have maintained an Excellent rating over the past 5 years.
We have an in-house lab that monitors all incoming ingredients as well as all in-process products and finished goods. A six-month library sample is maintained
