In 1917, Lester Lawrence came to America with a dream: establish a successful bakery ingredients business using Old World fundamentals and traditions. Lester and his son, Major, delivered nutmeats and other ingredients to Chicago bakers, building a reputation for superior products and service, and honest relationships. In the process, they built a company that is now one of the bakery industry's leading ingredients suppliers.
Today, Lawrence Foods occupies a technologically advanced facility in suburban Chicago, and manufactures a line of the industry's finest fillings, icings, glazes, jellies and preserves. Owned and directed by Major's son, Les Lawrence, the Company is still guided by the family's time-honored commitment to its founding principles.
