Taylor Packing has it all wrapped up. The company processes and packages beef for the wholesale, foodservice and retail food-manufacturing industries in the US and overseas. The company is owned by Cargill Meat Solutions, a subsidiary of Cargill, Incorporated. Taylor operates slaughtering, processing, grinding, and case-ready facilities in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and has the capability of processing 1,900 cattle a day. Established in the early 1940s by J. V. Taylor, Jr., Taylor Packing Co. was acquired by Cargill in 2002. It is now part of that company's Taylor-Excel Food Solutions group.
