Beechwood Distributors carries a full line of Anheuser-Busch products, broke ground Aug. 9 for a 106,000-square-foot distribution center at 5320 S. Emmer Drive in the Towne Corporate Park in New Berlin. The warehouse, which will hold up to 450,000 cases and 10,000 half-barrels of beer, is nearly twice the size of the existing New Berlin distribution center. Construction is contracted to Jens Construction, Pewaukee. The new facility, which will employ 120 workers, is expected to be completed by February 2001. Beechwood also distributes New Glarus, St. Pauli Girl, Spaten, Kirin, Guiness, Bass and Red Strip beers in southeastern Wisconsin.
