BridgePort is Oregon's Oldest Craft Brewery. 1999 is a milestone year celebrating a 15-year mark in the craft brewing industry. Since the opening of our brewery in 1984, we have grown to be one of Portland's most popular breweries and brewpubs.
The brewery and adjacent brewpub are located in Portland's historic "Pearl District" at 1313 NW Marshall Street. Our building, a former rope factory, is more than a century old. In the summer, vines of Virginian tree pew cover the outside of this old building and the loading dock provides seating for an eclectic clientele.
Filling a FirkinBridgePort produces a variety of British style ales including "Firkin style" IPA and Porter. BridgePort's "Firkin" beers are naturally conditioned (not force carbonated) in the bottle, keg or firkin cask from which they are served. The natural conditioning creates ale that is smooth, naturally carbonated and full of flavor. Firkin ale is available on tap and from the hand-pump daily at the BrewPub. Other traditional ales in the BridgePort portfolio include ESB, Black Strap Stout™, Amber and the heritage beer, Blue Heron Ale.
