California Bottling Co. (CBC) is the largest contract bottler of spring water in California. The company was formed in 1992 in Auburn by our current owners Chris Crain and Robert Mueller. Steady sales growth since its inception, along with the purchase of two competitive bottlers, necessitated a recent move into a much larger plant location. In 1997 CBC relocated to its current 55,000 sq. ft. processing plant in Roseville, CA. which is conveniently located near our protected spring source in the Sierra Nevada mountains and the I-5, I-80 interstate corridor. We proudly operate 5 stainless steel production lines; maintain an extensive quality control laboratory; and are fully licensed by all government authorities. CBC is a member of the IBWA, CBWA, and is NSF certified. Both current and prospective customers are welcome to tour our plant at anytime.
We bottle the three primary water types (Spring, Drink, and Distilled) in a variety of container sizes from 10 oz. to 6 gallons. We would be pleased to talk with you concerning your water requirements for either local or national distribution. Distributors are welcome to contact us about our branded products for either retail or home & office outlets.
California Bottling Co. (CBC) has two proprietary brands High Country Springs and American Springs both available in PET sizes (10oz - 1.5L), 1-gallon and 2.5-gallon bulk. Our American Springs brand has been the official bottled water of the California State Fair.
