Not easily shaken by competition, Charmer Industries has not stirred from its top spot as New York State's #1 wine and liquor wholesaler. Among its holdings are Connecticut Distributors and Washington (DC) Wholesale Liquor. Charmer Industries is owned by the Merinoff family and run by CEO Herman Merinoff. Charmer Industries is part of the Maryland-based Charmer-Sunbelt Group, the second-largest wine and spirits wholesaler in the US.
Family owned and operated, Charmer Industries sells many of the world's most prestigious brands of wines, spirits, champagnes and cordials to all of the region's licensed stores and on-premise accounts. We take great pride in giving top-notch service to our customers and our suppliers and we are continually looking for ways to better serve you.
One of the ways in which we improved service was to heavily invest in our infrastructure. From 1994 to 1998 we made major improvements to our warehouse, routing, and information technology systems. We also implemented bar coding and a temperature-controlled storage system. Today the speed and efficiency with which we sort and deliver goods is state of the art.
