Virginia's first commercial winegrape vineyard (established 1971), but the tiniest winery (1983) west of the Blue Ridge, south of Luray Caverns. Producing "estate bottled" wines only.
Tucked five miles south of Luray Caverns between the Blue Ridge Mountains to the East and the Massanutten Mountains and South Fork of the Shenandoah River to the West, Guilford Ridge produces between 350 and 400 cases of wine a year when the harvest is good. Gerba and Baker started out with the Page Valley Red, a Bordeaux-style red, and then added the Page Valley White and et Delilah, a Beaujolais-style red, as interest in their wines grew.
