Nitta Casings, formerly known as Devro North America, joined the Nitta family of companies in the summer of 1996. The company has a great deal in common with its new parent, Nitta Gelatin, one of the world's largest gelatin manufacturers. Aside from the natural synergies between them in terms of raw materials and technologies, the two companies share an outlook and attitude towards their work.
