Northern Pride, Inc is a grower owned turkey processing facility located in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. The cooperative was formed in 1989 by independent turkey growers through out Northern Minnesota and North Dakota. Northwest Minnesota has been rich with many long-time turkey producers. Turkey ranching has been active for over 60 years in Northern Minnesota with many turkey farms now supporting 2nd and 3rd generation families. The current 25 turkey grower/owners that purchased the processing plant from Land O’ Lakes take “pride” in producing high quality turkeys for the large and small retailers, distributors, exporters, and foreign customers spread throughout the World. Northern Pride is a seasonal plant operating from April through December each year processing the turkeys grown by the member/owner growers.
