Trophy Nut has been in business for over 40 years: initially as a privately held company, later as a subsidiary of Iroquois Brands, and for the last 30 years, under private ownership.
While Trophy has been involved in all phases of nut processing and packaging over the years, the company's largest brand penetration and consumer awareness has been in the category of "Tube Nuts". Traditionally, a convenience store/gas station/candy store item, Trophy has focused on "Tube Nuts" and has enjoyed widespread distribution, primarily through a network of independent jobbers and distributors in over 40 states.
Fancy gift packs supplied to department stores, Gourmet Retailers and Gift Basket Companies have also become an important part of Trophy's sales and are supported every year with an extensive mail order catalog.
Other segments of Trophy Nut sales include supermarkets (both regular shelf placement and promotional in-and-out features), mass merchants, drug stores, bulk, private label, fundraising and other "non-food" retailers.
